Pago de Carraovejas was founded by JosĂ© MarĂa Ruiz in Peñafiel, Ribera del Duero—a top benchmark estate in Spain. Cuesta de las Liebres is a high-altitude vineyard (~850 m) planted in 1992, harvested by hand and vinified to express terroir purity. This cuvĂ©e is only produced in exceptional years, limited to around 8,000 bottles per vintage.
